Brute Strength: I believe developing brute wrist strength is much more important than flexibility. Developing brute strength with heavy weights (5 lbs, 10lbs, then 15lbs) seems to both cause healing in the area and reduce the inflammation caused by future activities. It is the key in my experience to overcoming wrist pain.
