Namebase is a seed stage registrar and exchange for the soon-to-be-released Handshake
blockchain, the latest-and-greatest attempt at decentralizing naming. By solving some of the underlying cryptographic challenges preventing previous blockchain naming projects from succeeding in the past, Handshake has a clearer path to adoption than any of its predecessors, in part because it’s 100% backwards compatible with DNS.
