Menstrual Cramps  I just found this Qigong exercise and am trying it out in the next hour - will update you on how I feel after:

Some updates after this Qigong exercise:

- The cramps got slightly better. There is still lingering pain but the severity is reduced to more tolerable level

- I found the massaging exercises most soothing, mostly because when I touched the painful areas of my body I could feel the caring energy flowing from my hands into where it's  hurting. It's prob also cuz physical touch is my love language lol

- Emotion wise, I feel more peaceful and nourished, which in some way helped reduce the physical tension as well

Mini breakthrough: Mom did this 13 min Qi Gong set with me today after I told her about its effect on my wellbeing. She noticed that she's now passing gas smoother and was down to do another set with me after 😀 I see this as a win.

Sharing this experience within this group, in case you wanna encourage your family to practice Qi Gong with you - it can be a nice bonding exercise!

I have been feeling emotionally low lately (partially due to SAD), so I tried this Qigong set with my mom today.

Impact:

- We both felt warm sensations flowing through our body

- I felt more peaceful & compassionate with myself after
